Join our liturgy team!

Serving at Mass is a great way to draw closer to God through the sacraments and our Church community. In particular, CCM is looking for students to serve as altar servers, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and ushers.

Altar Servers

Altar servers assist the priest at the altar and help prepare the offertory gifts during the Mass.

​

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic ministers (EMHCs) help distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during Holy Communion.

​

Lectors

Lectors announce and read the Word of God to the congregation during the Mass.

​

Ushers

Ushers greet and welcome people who enter the Church, help them find seating, and take up the collection.

​

No prior experience is needed. Group training sessions for liturgy positions are held once a semester, but individual training can be scheduled at any point.
